Musings From The Moon
Last night we played in Nagoya. Club Rad was, well fucking rad. Going on stage at 7pm anywhere in the world scares me. At home in Santa Barbara we have a rule not to go out, let alone go onstage, before 10pm because no one will be there. By the time we hit the stage 4 bands had played and the club was packed. My drummers brother Mikee flew in with a couple friends to document the rest of the tour for our new video “She Sang The Blues”, which will be a tour footage compilation from all over the world, Europe, US, Japan, ect. Mikee did our “Fond Farewell” video and he is awesome at what he does. On stage in between songs I’m the talker. I never stop talking, on or off, so it’s disconcerting when I’m rambling while my guitar players tune and no one responds or even has clue of the the fuck I’m saying. Pictured above is my great great friend for 17 years Mr. Yotam Ben Horin, Useless ID singer and bass player extraordinaire. I love Useless ID!!!!! Tonite in Tokyo is our last show together, for now, and I can only say that u really know a true friend when u have not seen them for 5 years and when u meet again it feels like yesterday. Yotam posted this pic on his Facebook and a friend from Israel commented that we looked like Wayne and Garth. I gotta say that’s the funniest thing I have fucking heard, not because its funny, but because its totally true.
Omg that means I am Garth!
